Over <\/span><\/b>280 projects supporting disadvantaged children funded since 2009.<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A major pillar of Wavestone\u2019s philanthropic commitment, the Wavestone Corporate Foundation supports projects aimed at improving the lives of disadvantaged children, particularly those affected by poverty and extreme deprivation. The Foundation finances the creation and development of initiatives and programmes that combat poverty, notably in the social, educational and healthcare fields.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cSince its creation, our Foundation has been committed to supporting the most vulnerable children, wherever they may be. Today, in the face of climate disruption, geopolitical instability and shrinking funding resources, their situation is deteriorating dramatically: for many of them, the world is becoming more unjust every day.Refusing to accept this reality is a collective responsibility. That is why, inline with our CSR commitments, the Wavestone Foundation has chosen to focus its efforts on one pressing priority: improving the living conditions of displaced children in a tangible and sustainable way.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Improving\u00a0the Long-Term\u00a0Health and Well-being\u00a0of\u00a0Displaced\u00a0Children\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to UNICEF, a record 43.3 million children (estimated at the end of 2022) are living in situations of forced displacement. Such displacement compromises their protection, education and access to essential services required for their well-being.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The 2026\/27 Call for Projects aims to support initiatives and development programmes designed to sustainably improve the health and well-being of children displaced as a result of political crises, conflicts, and climate- or environmentally-related shocks.<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Particular\u00a0attention\u00a0will\u00a0be\u00a0given\u00a0to\u00a0children\u00a0aged\u00a0<\/strong>0-11 y<\/strong>ears<\/span><\/b> (migrant, refugee or internally displaced children) and their families. This age group has been identified as a key target because it represents a crucial phase of child development, during which disruptions caused by displacement can have significant consequences on education, health, safety and identity formation.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
